Reserved Group Tours
Thank you for your interest in visiting UC Berkeley.
Group tours of the UC Berkeley campus are required for parties of 10 or more. Group tours are available for school or community groups but we also invite those who would like a more intimate campus experience to reserve a private group tour. With advanced notice, group tours may be designed to accommodate areas of special interest. Fees may apply, please see the bottom of the page for the fee schedule.
Group tours are only offered Monday through Friday during the academic year, excluding some University holidays and break periods. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Tours are offered at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2pm. Tours for middle school groups are 60 minutes in duration. All other group tours are 90 minutes.
Reservations are made through our automated online reservation system. Click the link at the bottom of this page to open the tour reservation calendar and follow the instructions indicated in blue. For additional information regarding a campus visit, please call (510) 642-5215.

2008-2009 Group Tour Calendar
We are now taking reservations for summer 2008!
Spring 2008
Online group tour reservations for the spring 2008 semester can be made starting January 21. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between February 19 and May 9. Because of spring recess, no group tours will be available March 24 through 28.
No group tours will be offered between May 12 and June 15.
Summer 2008
Online group tour reservations for the summer of 2008 can be made starting May 12. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between June 16 and August 8. No group tours will be available on the 4th of July holiday.
No group tours will be offered between August 11 and September 21.
Fall 2008
Online group tour reservations for the fall 2008 semester can be made starting August 18. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between September 22 and December 5.
No tour will be available on the following holidays.
Labor Day - September 1
Veterans Day – November 11
Thanksgiving – November 27 and 28
No group tours will be offered after December 5, 2008.
Spring 2009
Online group tour reservations for the spring 2009 semester can be made starting January 20, 2009. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between February 17 and May 8, 2009. Because of spring recess, no group tours will be available March 23 through 27.
No group tours will be offered between May 11 and May 31, 2009.
Summer 2009
Online group tour reservations for the summer of 2009 can be made starting May 11, 2009. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between June 1 and August 7, 2009. No group tours will be available on the July 3rd for the holiday.
No group tours will be offered between August 8 and September 20, 2009.
Fall 2009
Online group tour reservations for the fall 2009 semester can be made starting August 17, 2009. Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday between September 21 and December 4, 2009.
No tour will be available on the following holidays.
Veterans Day – November 11, 2009
Thanksgiving – November 26 and 27, 2009
No group tours will be offered after December 4, 2009.

Fees
Tours are free to California middle school, high school, and college groups. For private, nonprofit, and out-of-state school groups, the following fees will be assessed:
